First, ensure the engine is off and all doors are closed. Next, properly fasten the driver’s and passenger’s seatbelts. Insert the key and turn on the ignition. Wait about twenty seconds, then unbuckle one of the seatbelts. This will temporarily stop the audible alarm system.
