To replace the battery of the key fob for a Fiat 500, first extract the metal key. Take the fob and press the button on the casing with the Fiat logo to release the key. Next, use a flathead screwdriver to unscrew the screw located on the edge of the casing in the key slot. At this point, you can remove the battery compartment along with the battery and proceed to replace the old battery with a new one. The required model is a flat CR 2032 battery rated at 3V.
