Replacing the Rear Bonnet Support Struts

The rear bonnet support struts are actually gas springs and over time they can deteriorate, losing their ability to support the tailgate; replacing them is very simple: start by opening the bonnet, removing the parcel shelf, and applying a support to hold the tailgate in position during the removal of the struts (a broom can be used as shown in the video). At this point, extract the plastic tab that acts as a stop for the ball joint and detach the head of the strut to apply the new one (check the length and compatibility of the fitting).
