Position the Gear Lever in Neutral

If you need to move the gear lever to the neutral position but cannot start the vehicle due to a flat battery, there is a manual procedure to overcome this issue: on the right side of the centre console, just below the gear lever, where the storage net is located, there is a plastic cap. By removing the plastic cap, you can access a slot through which you can unlock the gear lever by inserting a small screwdriver and pushing inwards; the designers have intelligently provided for this eventuality and equipped the device accordingly.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
