Today, in this brief guide, you will find instructions to remove and replace the alternator on the Fiat Grande Punto, as well as the Punto Evo. First, open the bonnet and disconnect the battery; then loosen the alternator belt tensioner to remove the belt, as shown in the video.

Next, disconnect the electrical part of the alternator by unscrewing the fixing screws with a socket spanner; then install the new alternator, applying the reverse procedure for refitting!
