How to Change the Alternator on a Fiat Punto

Let's look at replacing the alternator on a Fiat Punto. Lift the front engine cover and locate the alternator. Disconnect the battery terminals that supply electricity to the entire car. Undo the bolts on the sides of the alternator after disconnecting the drive belt. Once disassembly is complete, remove the part from the engine bay. Take the new replacement part and insert it into the appropriate housing, tighten the securing bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Check the correct voltage with a tester by connecting it to the battery. Start the vehicle and verify its operation.
