How to replace the number plate lights on a Fiat 500L

In this guide, you will learn how to change the number plate light on a Fiat 500L: first, open the boot, and using a screwdriver, remove the number plate. Clean the plastic under the number plate, and with a flathead screwdriver, release the metal clip holding the two light units positioned on either side of the number plate. Disconnect the connector by pressing the tab and remove the bulb holder. With the bulb holder in hand, turn it a quarter turn counterclockwise and remove the bulb, which can simply be pulled out. Fit the new bulb (do not touch it with your hands!) and place it back in the bulb holder. Reconnect the connector and put it back in position. Refit the light unit. Reattach the number plate, and the job is complete.
