How to fix the fuel cap of the Fiat.

Model: Fiat Fiat Various
Part: Fuel cap

The problem of the petrol cap breaking on Fiat models is much more common than you might think. But how can you fix it while keeping costs down? The first thing to do is to purchase a cap from a used spare parts website. It's important to buy the same model and make sure it's for petrol if you need it. The second thing to do is to start dismantling the top part of the old cap in order to remove the white plastic pin that is inside the cap. This pin is responsible for housing the opening and closing mechanism of the cap. Once this part is removed, you can insert the new one. Simply open the purchased cap. Once the new mechanism part is inserted, the closing will start working again.
