Learn how to change the battery in a Fiat 500X remote (this procedure also applies to the remotes for Freemont, Punto, and Tipo). First, remove the physical emergency key from the remote. Using the key, pry between the cover and the base of the remote to open it. Inside, you will find the button cell battery: it is a common CR2032, available at any supermarket or newsagent for a few pounds. When replacing it, pay attention to the polarity; ensure it is inserted the correct way. At this point, reassemble the shell and the physical key. The operation is complete.
