Fitting a Cigarette Lighter Socket in the Boot of the Fiat Sedici

Having a cigarette lighter socket for electrical power in the boot of the Fiat Sedici can be very useful. Obtain a cigarette lighter socket and open the tailgate.

On the right side, you will notice a raised circle near a small flap on the side panel. Open the flap to find an unconnected electrical connector that you will use for your socket.

Using a drill with a bit, create a hole in the raised circle, matching the diameter of your socket, and pass the connector through it. Close the flap, disconnect the connector, and attach its terminals to the socket. Insert the socket into the hole and secure it with its clips.

The socket will operate with the ignition key in the "on" position.
