Replacing the gear knob on a Fiat Panda vehicle is a very simple procedure that can be done independently. First, insert a plastic tool into the small groove to leverage and remove the top part of the knob. Then, remove the nut inside using a 10mm wrench. Once the nut is removed, the outer part of the gear knob can be extracted. To remove the inner part, the gear lever boot needs to be removed. After removing the boot, if necessary, the gear lever arm can be slid off. To reassemble everything, simply follow the same procedure in reverse.
