To replace the pistons it is necessary to remove the plastic protections close to the fixing screws. To do this, just insert a screwdriver into the appropriate slot and pry, being careful not to get hurt. Support the tailgate or get help, and forcefully remove the piston from the retaining pin. The piston is simply wedged into a hemisphere. Remove it on both sides. Secure the new piston by simply fitting the two ends into the hemisphere. Put the clips and protectors back on both under and at the top. Test the perfect functioning by closing the tailgate.

In order to replace the auxiliary battery of the Land Rover Evoque, it is necessary to go inside the passenger compartment and remove the panel which is positioned immediately under the glovebox. Once the screws that secure this panel have been loosened, it will be possible to access the components located in its rear part, including the auxiliary battery.
