To replace the rear suspension springs on a Ford Fiesta, place the vehicle on a lift, loosen the nuts on the rear wheels, lift the car, and finish removing the two rear wheels. Clean the shock absorber mount on both sides and place a hydraulic jack under the mount to relieve tension on the suspension.

Unscrew the shock absorber nut with a 15mm socket, lower the jack, and repeat the process on the other side. With the axle lowered, remove the two springs and their rubber mounts, clean the surfaces, and insert the new springs with the mounts.

Raise the mount with the jack, insert the shock absorber bolt, and tighten it with a torque wrench. Repeat the process on the other side, reattach the wheels, and lower the car.
