How to open the front hood of the Ford Fiesta

Opening the front hood of the Ford Fiesta is a simple and quick operation to be carried out independently. Before opening the hood, we must park the vehicle on a flat area, engage the handbrake, put the gear in neutral, and remove the key. Immediately after, we must pull the hood release lever. We get out of the vehicle, position ourselves in front of the hood, insert our hand into the opening groove, move the internal lever, and open the hood. After opening the hood, we lock it with the locking rod and perform the necessary maintenance and checks; to close the hood, we should remove the locking rod and let it fall on itself.
