How to open the fuel cap on a Ford Fiesta? Let's see how to carry out these operations. Open the fuel flap located on the left side of the car's body. You will find the black plastic fuel cap once the flap is opened: unscrew it and remove it from the filler neck (attach the cap to the flap). After refuelling, tighten the cap onto the filler neck. Close the fuel flap once the refuelling or cleaning operation is complete. Do not leave the fuel flap open.
