How to Remove the Fuel Pump from a Ford Focus

Learn how to remove the fuel pump from a Ford Focus. First, lift the car with a column lift and secure it, then remove the fuel filter (as shown in the video). Use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing bolts of the tank (place a support under it), remove it from its housing, cover the perimeter with absorbent paper to catch any fluid leaks, and unscrew the securing nut. Disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation hoses. Finally, extract the fuel pump from its housing along with any attached components.
