How to remove and replace the timing belt on a Ford Fiesta? Lift the car on a column lift (jack), remove the front wheel and the right wheel arch liner. Once these operations are completed: remove the timing belt cover, using a spanner, loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Use a socket to unscrew the tensioner pulley bolt, and remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump (previously removed), the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket. Fit the rivets with the wheel arch liner and reassemble the wheel on the vehicle.
