Empty the windshield washer fluid tank by activating the windshield wipers several times or using a syringe to suck out the liquid. We can access the pump from the left wheel well by turning the steering wheel completely to the right to have more working space. We will need to remove some clips from the wheel well near the tank; it is not necessary to remove the entire wheel well, just loosen a part of it to be able to insert a hand and see the pump. It is a black plastic cylinder; disconnect the electrical connector, remove the rubber hose that carries the liquid to the sprayers: the pump is held in place only by a pressure gasket, it does not have screws or fastening clips, so just pull to remove it.
