How to Change the Engine Air Filter in a Ford Focus

To replace the engine air filter in a Ford Focus, open the bonnet and locate the air filter box in the engine compartment, connected to the intake hose. Unscrew the screws or release the clips securing the cover and lift it to access the filter. Remove the used filter and check for dirt, dust, or debris inside the box. Clean the filter seat thoroughly with a dry cloth. Insert the new filter in the same position as the old one, ensuring it is correctly aligned and seated all around. Replace the cover of the filter box and tighten the screws or reattach the clips. Finally, check that all intake connections are properly fitted before closing the bonnet.
