How to Replace the Alternator on Ford Kuga

Is the alternator on our Ford Kuga damaged and needs replacing? Here’s how to do it. Open the front bonnet, remove the fuel filter along with all hoses and cables (as shown in the video). Remove the metal cover of the alternator (use a socket spanner with the appropriate sockets). Unscrew the thermostat fastening screws and remove it from its housing (take off the splash guard and the belt). Once the part is removed, replace it with a new one, close the compartment with the cover, and tighten the fastening bolts securely. Ensure that the alternator is correctly inserted and mounted. Refit the fuel filter.
