Replacement of the Front Headlamp Bulb

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

In this video, remove and replace the front headlamp bulb (passenger side) of a Ford Focus. The driver side is relatively straightforward, but the presence of the battery, its cradle, and the air filter on the passenger side complicates the operation. First, remove the battery cover. Take out the two screws securing the air duct and push it aside. With the air duct removed, you will have better access to the bolt securing the strap that holds the battery in place. Remove the battery and unscrew the three bolts you can access (two at the bottom and one on the left side). There are 5 or 6 rubber clips inserted into the holes on the left side of the compartment. Remove them to extract the battery cradle as well. Next, detach the rubber cap. The next step is a bit tricky: remember the correct position when removing the small support for the bulb. Remove the old bulb and gently fit the new one. Now proceed to reassemble everything in reverse order of disassembly.
