How to Remove the Battery from a Ford Kuga

Model: Ford Kuga C520, MK 2 - Years 2012-2019

Before you can begin, open the front bonnet. Once done, start by removing the battery cover by simply unclipping it. With the cover removed, you will have direct access to the battery. Next, remove the entire air filter block by disconnecting the relevant hoses and removing the bolts that secure it. Then, unclip the wiring attached along the side of the battery. After that, remove the positive terminal connected to the battery, and then take off the battery protection wall. Before removing the battery, you only need to remove the upper safety arm by unscrewing the two bolts that secure it. Once the arm is removed, pull the battery out enough to disconnect the negative terminal. After you have also removed the negative terminal, you can take out the battery, successfully completing the disassembly.
