Replacing the Battery in a Ford Kuga

Model: Ford Kuga C520, MK 2 - Years 2012-2019

After positioning your Ford Kuga on a flat surface or on a ramp (a recommended precaution for safety and stability when performing maintenance on a vehicle), open the bonnet and locate the battery (found at the top centre/right of the compartment). Remove the plastic protective cover from the top and rear of the battery. Next, after removing the various hoses connected to it, take out the air box located directly in front of the battery. Unclip the cable holder positioned on the front face of the battery, disconnect the positive terminal, and remove the plastic cover located at the front. Unscrew the securing plate on top and move the battery just enough to disconnect the negative terminal. Finally, remove the battery and replace it with the new one. To do this, follow all the steps in reverse as shown in the images.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
