Operation: How to remove the mirror caps of a Ford Focus

Before starting I recommend that you open the door, to have greater comfort in carrying out the actions that I will describe. So, let's start by pushing the mirror all the way down to the right. By doing so we will have access to the two hooks that secure the shell. With the help of a slotted screwdriver we press on the first hook, freeing it, and we repeat this step for the second hook. At the end of this phase, to release the three remaining hooks present in the lower part of the shell, you will have to tilt the cap down, then pull back and lift (do not pull too hard, as you could risk breaking a hook). At this point we will be able to correctly remove the cap. In case you would like to remove the other shell as well, simply repeat the steps.
