How to Install a New Car Radio

If you intend to replace the old radio in your Ford Ka, this tutorial explains how to do it. Using a screwdriver, detach the metal bracket from the old radio and attach it via clips to the outer frame. Insert everything into the housing and secure the clips using a flat-head screwdriver. Remove the wiring and connect it to the new radio. Connect the wires to the radio block, then insert the block into the compartment without pushing it all the way in. As a final step, attach the front panel and test the radio's operation. At this point, you can push the entire radio block in fully, securing it permanently.
