How to Remove the Door of the Ford Fiesta Mk6

This guide shows how to remove the front door of the Ford Fiesta Mk6. The first step is to disconnect the battery cables. On the side you want to work on, open the door and pull out the connector that supplies power to the door using the two clips at the end of the piece. Use a 10 mm hex key to remove the bolt securing the door stay. With the same key, remove the four bolts securing the door to the hinges; it is advisable to start with the bolts at the bottom to avoid bending any components. Additionally, have someone support the door at this moment. Once the door is detached from its position, you can disconnect the electrical connector.
