How to Replace the Key Battery of a Ford Kuga

To replace the battery of the remote for a Ford Kuga, start by removing the cover where the logo is located by pressing on the slots at the bottom of the remote and lifting it. Once the cover is off, use a small flathead screwdriver to remove the key blade. Leverage the screwdriver in the shorter part of the key to take off the casing. After removing the casing, you will find the battery at the back, which can be taken out using the screwdriver by prying from below. Take the new battery (battery code CR2032), remove it from the packaging, and insert it in the same orientation as the old battery. Now, refit the remote casing until you hear a click, reinsert the key blade, replace the cover with the logo until you hear a click, and finally, test the new battery.
