To replace the button battery inside your Ford Kuga key (first series, 2008-2012), follow these steps. First, ensure you have a flat-head screwdriver. Then, remove the rear cover of the key and take out the physical emergency key located just underneath. At this point, use the flat screwdriver to also remove the front cover and locate the exhausted battery. Finally, remove the old battery and replace it with a new button battery model CR 2032.
