The remote for the Ford Kuga 2 operates with a 3-volt button battery identified as CR2032, which is widely available as it is commonly used in most car remotes. You can find it not only in spare parts shops but also at newsagents, bazaars, or DIY stores.

Once you have a new battery, open the battery compartment cover using a small screwdriver, remove the old battery, and insert the new one. If you don't have a screwdriver, you can also use the mechanical blade of the key.
