How to Change the Key Battery of a Ford Kuga

To change the Ford key battery, you will only need: a small flat-head screwdriver and a new CR2032 battery. Take the key and look for the slot along the side groove (usually on the side opposite the buttons); insert the flat-head screwdriver into the slot and gently pry to separate the two halves of the plastic shell. Now open the key like an oyster: the two halves separate revealing the internal circuit and the battery. Remove the old battery (CR2032) by gently lifting it with the screwdriver or fingers and insert the new battery with the positive (+) side facing up (the side with the text). Close the two halves of the key, pressing until you hear the click of closure and test the remote by pressing a button to verify it works.
