How to Change the Key Battery of a Ford Kuga

This brief video tutorial shows how to change the battery of a second-generation Ford Kuga key, produced from 2012 to 2019. The first step is to remove the physical emergency key. To do this, simply remove the "FORD" logo on the back of the remote, then take out the physical key. Once done, using a small flathead screwdriver and a plastic lever, start to separate the two halves of the key. Once separated, you will find the battery that needs replacing, so replace it with a new one and finally reassemble the key by following the reverse procedure.
