Replacing the air filter in a Ford Focus is an extremely simple task that anyone can do. You will need an 8 mm spanner and, of course, a replacement filter. Open the bonnet and locate the filter; it is situated on the driver's side as shown in the video. Remove the 4 nuts from the airbox using the 8 mm spanner and open it. To remove the filter from the intake, simply grip it and pull it outwards. Next, insert the new filter, ensuring that all dirt inside the airbox has been removed. Refit the cover and tighten the 4 nuts.
