How to Replace the Air Filter on a Ford F350

This tutorial shows how to replace the air filter on a Ford F350. Open the hood and unscrew the radiator cap to relieve pressure inside; remove the coolant return hose to make this easier. Also, remove the engine oil dipstick as it may obstruct the air filter removal. Disconnect the mass airflow sensor connector and, using some penetrating oil, remove the first anchor point of the filter located below the radiator expansion tank. Now loosen the clamps on the filter hose and pull everything out. With the filter box removed, take off the retaining tabs and replace the filter element. Reassemble the filter and hoses, retracing the disassembly steps to reinstall everything in place.
