How to Change the Oil and Oil Filter on the Ford F350

To change the oil and oil filter on the Ford F350, use a wrench to unscrew the oil drain plug and let the oil drain into a container. While the oil is draining, use a specific wrench to unscrew the oil filter and let the oil drain into a container. Take the new oil filter, pour some new oil into it, spread some new oil on the gasket, and screw it into place after cleaning the area. After draining the oil, clean the oil drain plug and the plug itself, then screw it back in (the video shows a different plug that can be omitted; just use the original plug). After reinstalling the drain plug, go to the vehicle, insert a funnel into the oil fill hole, and pour in the amount of oil specified by the manufacturer. When you are close to the specified amount, check the oil level by pulling out the dipstick (check the level with the vehicle on level ground and the second time you pull out the dipstick). If the oil level is at the max mark, the operation is complete; otherwise, add more oil. Finally, proceed to reset the oil life; turn on the instrument cluster, go to the "settings" screen, select "advanced settings," press the "OK" button, select "vehicle," press the "OK" button, select "oil life reset," press the "OK" button, press the "OK" button again, wait for the "reset complete" message, and the operation is finished.
