Instructions for Removing the Glove Compartment

Removing the glove compartment is relatively simple and does not require special tools; it comes off complete with the door. It is secured to the dashboard with five Torx screws: one is located on the side, hidden by the triangular dashboard cover, which must be removed to access the screw (the cover is secured with pressure clips, and it is recommended to remove the door seal to take it off). Two more screws are located along the top edge of the door closure, and the last two at the bottom of the scuff plate; to reach these last ones, remove the sound-absorbing cover. Once all screws are removed, you can extract the glove compartment.
