How to Replace the Diesel Filter on a Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi

Part: Diesel fuel filter

Start by opening the bonnet of the vehicle and removing the three screws from the diesel filter protection plate using an 8 mm socket. Next, using a flat screwdriver, disconnect the two electrical connectors from the filter, followed by the two diesel pipes. Finally, using the 8 mm socket, unscrew the two screws that hold the filter in place and remove it. At this point, separate the filter cap from the cartridge by removing the three screws with a Torx 15 key, then replace the old cartridge with a new one and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
