Fitting an External Rear-View Mirror

The following guide shows how to fit a new external rear-view mirror to your car, replacing the old one without spending excessive money. Once you have purchased the new mirror, you can proceed with the replacement.

External mirrors can be removed using a screwdriver, inserting the screwdriver between the glass and the outer casing and prying it off. Once this is done, you can proceed with fitting the new mirror. Simply push the new mirror into the bracket, applying pressure in the centre to engage it with the main metal clips that hold the structure.
