In order to replace the camshaft oil seal it is necessary to remove the timing belt and the relative toothed pulley; then remove the old oil seal, carefully clean the seat eliminating any residual dirt that could compromise the tightness of the new oil seal; abundantly lubricate the seat and the new oil seal with clean oil, insert it with the lip facing inwards and press it as far as it will go; then install the toothed pulley, align the timing references and install the timing belt: consider if it is appropriate to replace it.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308

If we need to change the time on this car we can follow the instructions given in this video tutorial and read the instructions below. First of all, access the driver's seat and turn on the ignition.
