Replacing the Camshaft Oil Seal

To replace the camshaft oil seal, it is necessary to remove the timing belt and the associated toothed pulley; then extract the old oil seal, thoroughly clean the seat, removing any dirt that could compromise the seal of the new oil seal; generously lubricate the seat and the new oil seal with clean oil, insert it with the lip facing inwards and press it in until fully seated; then install the toothed pulley, align the timing marks, and install the timing belt: consider whether it is appropriate to replace it.
