Camshaft Installation Instructions

When replacing the camshaft, it is recommended to also install a new so-called pedestal, consisting of the spherical head pins and the valve push rods; start by lubricating the pin seats and inserting them, then apply the push rods and subsequently position the camshaft after generously lubricating it; apply gasket sealant along the edges of the camshaft fixing plate seat, install the plate and then the side oil seal with the lip facing inwards; mount the toothed pulley, align the timing marks and install the timing belt.
