Replacing the Camshaft Oil Seal

Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 4, Be91, MK 4, MK IV - Years 1996-2002
Part: Engine

Generously lubricate the new oil seal and its housing with clean oil; align the oil seal to its housing with the lip facing inwards and push it in until fully seated using a suitable tool that allows for insertion without damaging or deforming it. Once the new camshaft oil seal is installed, fit the timing belt pulley, tightening the relevant fixing bolt with a torque wrench. Subsequently, when completing the installation of the timing belt, ensure the timing marks are correctly aligned.
