Ok, let's get comfortable: to remove the evaporative valve (EVAP) on your 2014 Ford Fiesta, you will need some patience and a few basic tools. First things first: disconnect the battery, it's always better to work safely.

The EVAP valve is usually located near the engine, attached to the intake manifold or near the engine compartment, depending on the model. Once located, disconnect the electrical connector and the connected tubes, be careful, they can be a bit stubborn.

Then unscrew the mounting screws with a ratchet wrench. Once free, carefully remove the valve.

If you are replacing it, install the new one following the same steps in reverse. Voilà, job done.
