How to Replace the Cabin Filter on the Ford Fiesta

Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 6, MK 6, MK VI - Years 2008-2017

To replace the cabin filter on the Ford Fiesta, first remove the two plastic rivets holding the cover using a flathead screwdriver. Once the rivets are removed, apply pressure to the centre of the cover to take it off. Using the flathead screwdriver, remove the plastic rivet that holds the lower cover of the dashboard panel. Next, using a Torx key size 20, remove the screws securing the filter. Now that all fastenings are removed, pull the filter out while lifting the cables obstructing its exit. Once the old filter is removed, insert the new filter, ensuring to observe the direction arrows on the filter. Refit the flange and reinsert the Torx screws, tightening them with the Torx key size 20. Finally, refit the cover and various protections by screwing in the screws and rivets.
