How to Disable the Passenger Airbag on a Ford Fiesta?

To disable the passenger airbag on a Ford Fiesta, open the glove compartment on the passenger side. Once the compartment is open, locate a red lock at the top. This can be turned with the ignition key to switch it from ON to OFF: when the lock is ON, the passenger airbag is active; when it is OFF, the airbag is disabled. After completing this operation, close the glove compartment.
