Guide to Replacing the Front Headlight

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004
Part: Headlight

The necessary tools are a cross screwdriver, a flat screwdriver, and a 10mm spanner.
To remove the headlight, first remove the protective trim above the front grille by unscrewing the screws present.
Once done, remove the screws that hold the front grille in place, two on each side, then remove the bulbs and set the grille aside.
The headlights are secured at three points; remove the screws and take out the headlight after disconnecting the cables.
Now you can easily change the blown bulb.
The video is very detailed, just follow it carefully for further details.

This guide is for a 2002 Ford Focus 3-door.

After removing the gaiter, unscrew the securing screw located at the rear of the centre console (if present). Once this is done, pull the console away and disconnect any power cables. Finally, insert the new part into the centre console space and reassemble all components as they were removed.
