How to Adjust the Lights on a Ford Focus

In this video, you will learn how to adjust the lights on the Focus from the third generation onwards, particularly those with a manual electronic adjuster (not automatic), which adjusts the height of the dipped headlights. Turn on the dipped headlights. Locate the rotary control (usually found on the control panel to the left of the steering wheel), along with the controls for the other lights: it has an icon representing a headlight with arrows pointing up and down. Adjust it, as shown in the video, by turning the selector. Turning it upwards raises the beam and downwards lowers it. This control is mainly designed to compensate for load (e.g., a full boot, rear passengers). With the car empty, it should be set to '0'; when the car is loaded, lower it to avoid dazzling other drivers.
