How to Remove the Rear Door Handle on a Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

First, you need to remove the plastic inner panel that covers the rear door. To do this, unscrew the six screws that secure it to the door along the entire perimeter. Then, unscrew the screw near the opening lever and the two screws located in the handle under the plastic cover. After this operation, you can remove the panel. Start by removing the plastic trim around the opening lever and disconnect the power supply for the electric window lift. Next, remove the triangular trim on the glass and finally proceed to remove the panel. At this point, move the cover corresponding to the handle. Locate the position of the screw that secures the handle and unscrew it. Now, using a screwdriver, remove the handle from its position on the outside of the door. Proceed to fit the new handle by repeating the same operations in reverse order. Follow the same procedure for reassembling the door panel.
