In this video, see how to replace the auxiliary belt on a Ford Mondeo MK3: open the bonnet and lift the vehicle, as it is much easier to access the auxiliary belt from underneath. Loosen the tensioner pulley, then remove the belt by sliding it towards you. You can find the belt + tensioner kit on auto-doc.co.uk, for example, with code K046PK1245, priced at £40.87 + £9.95 shipping. The video shows how to fit the new belt and the routing it should take; normally, when changing the belt, you also change the tensioner. To fit it, pull the belt pulley sideways to insert it easily. Lower the vehicle and close the bonnet. Job done.
