Replacing the timing belt on a Ford Transit vehicle is a fairly simple operation to perform. To carry out this operation, we must first open the hood and then remove the front right wheel and its fender. Once removed, we can access the pulley more easily, but first we remove the engine block. We then loosen the nut on the belt tensioner pulley and then remove the timing belt. We insert the new one and tighten the tensioner pulley. We reassemble the previously removed parts and then reassemble the wheel and fender.
