How do you reset the Service light on the Ford Fiesta?

The Service light that appears on the instrument panel of the Ford Fiesta can be reset by simultaneously holding down the accelerator and brake pedals while the instrument panel is off; continuing to hold down the pedals, you can insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to turn on the instrument panel. Once the instrument panel is on, you can wait for about fifteen seconds with the pedals pressed, until a message confirming the reset of the Service light appears; in this way you can release the pedals and turn off the instrument panel by turning the key.
