The procedure for disassembling the engine of the Garelli VIP can be carried out by first removing it from its housing, loosening all the bolts that fix it to the appropriate supports. Once the engine has been disconnected from the supports and the connectors connected to it, it will be possible to disconnect the piston from the connecting rod, by widening the corresponding seeger ring. When the piston has been disconnected, it will also be possible to disconnect the pedals, removing the pins that fix the protective covers of the internal components of the engine. In this way it will be possible to access them and replace them with new spare parts.
